Course Objectives:
“By the end of the semester the student should have a very good working knowledge of Adobe Flash, and a beginning understanding of After Effects.
The student should understand animation and motion graphics as a delivery for narrative and information. Thought should put into timing, pacing, camera angles, editing, and story. The student should leave with an understanding of navigation the Timeline, Understanding Library Protocol and Principles, Motion, Keyframes, Blank Keyframes, Symbol Types, and simple actions.
Drawing is key to exercising creative abilities and story in Flash. If a student lacks in this arena, there are other ways to create effective motion graphics. Think Type, simplicity, Timing, Color, Compositions, and creative skills.”
