I found this map in a shop in Saigon, Vietnam about 10 years ago. I had spent the day digging through thousands of old military maps. Most were unremarkable Army Corp of Engineering maps of the Vietnamese countryside from the 60-70s. I was looking for maps with signs of use; notes and annotations. I found this one but really don’t know anything about it, other than it being New Britain, Papua New guinea. I was hoping a nautical map enthusiast might know more about it.
